PURPOSE OF ROLE
To produce high quality marketing related content across all channels, driving sales and increasing engagement with members and non-members across industry sectors.

REPORTING TO
Head of Marketing and Communications

PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES

Website management

  • Own IRM’s website and make daily updates produce, copy edit and proof read high quality web content in order to ensure it accurately reflects IRMs products and services and to maintain a consistent look and feel which is compliant with brand guidelines
  • Proactively work with heads of department and staff members to regularly review, create and improve web content to promote products and services, drive engagement and increase online sales
  • Produce monthly reports on website traffic, PPC, SEO rankings, social media, digital marketing campaigns and conversion rates.
  • Create and design marketing collateral within IRM guidelines
  • Support other users of the content management system, including handling ad-hoc training requests
  • Work with the IT and Database Manager to ensure all appropriate data is captured within the core business system for the purposes of data analysis and segmentation.
  • Manage the IRM’s social media accounts

Digital marketing communications

  • Proactively work with the Head of Communications/Marketing Manager to develop and implement innovative digital marketing campaigns across all online platforms including website, PPC, email and social media.
  • Create and implement the monthly member e-newsletter and Enterprise Risk Management newsletter

PERSON SPECIFICATION

Skills and experience

  • Ability to write compelling content for different audiences and across different platforms
  • Knowledge of CMS technologies (ideally Umbraco)
  • Able to optimise content for the web and monitor website progress
  • Strong working knowledge of Google tools (Analytics, Keyword Tools, Adwords)
  • Excellent understanding of SEO metrics and web-marketing definitions
  • Knowledge and experience of PPC
  • Eye for design and an ability to use/ or learn design packages (InDesign, Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, etc.)
  • Ability to work on own initiative without detailed direction
  • Good team player; able to liaise closely with internal colleagues and external customers
  • Self-motivated demonstrating drive, enthusiasm and determination and impeccable attention to detail
  • Creative, innovative and very organised
