We are delighted to announce that Kai Grunwitz will be the opening keynote speaker at our forthcoming Cyber Risk Management in the Digital Age event. He is a well-known cyber security leader and influencer.

We know of Industry 4.0, Kai’s keynote will review the newest development being Society 5.0, which was featured at WEF 2019 in Davos, together with the emerging threat vectors and risk management strategies around it.

Kai is SVP of NTT Security EMEA, based in Frankfurt. As a cyber security leader and influencer, he is a regular keynote at events such as the Gartner Security Summit. Kai also hosts NTT Security’s own Information Security World conferences in Frankfurt and in London.

He recently appeared on Swiss TV, on Reto Lipp’s ECO Wirtschaftsmagazin, in the Cybercrime series.

Access video coverage of Kai here.

Jean-Paul Kölbl is our 2nd keynote and will speak on the very topical “Validated Identity- the new Business Enabler”. Jean-Paul is Principal Consultant at NTT Security Switzerland, having previously worked as Chief Information Security Officer at Swisscard AECS, one of Switzerland’s leading credit card companies.

There will also be a panel discussion to include Zsuzsanna Kunszt, who is Head of Legal at AXA XL Insurance and joins as our expert panelist on GDPR.

Martin Tang, Chair of the IRM Switzerland Group will be the moderator for the evening, which will be rounded off with a networking apéro riche in the Jules Verne Panorama Bar, with picturesque views over Zurich.

Register early to avoid disappointment.

This is an IRM members event, with a limited number of places available for non-members paying GBP £22 admission fee.

Kai said:

“The dynamics of digital transformation require not only a mature risk awareness but also continuous development of cyber risk training and programs.

The Institute of Risk Management plays a key role in supporting clients on this journey to enable a secure and risk aware digital journey. Risk management and cyber security are essential pillars for the future success of companies and the digital survival of our society.”

Martin Tang, Chairman of IRM Switzerland Regional Group responded:

“Switzerland is a leading domicile for global large corporates and there is great interest amongst our membership in Cyber Security. Two of our four annual risk management events are focused on this fast-moving and ever-changing standard.

We are delighted and grateful to have NTT Security as our headline event sponsor.

I met Kai at NTT Security’s “Information Security World” conference in Frankfurt and was impressed by the breadth and depth of NTT’s services, offering the full range of specialized managed security and consulting services”.

In December 2018, IRM launched a new IRM Certificate in Digital Risk Management, with the 1st examinations taking place in November 2019 for this 9-month program.

By offering this new qualification, IRM aims to help expand and increase specialist knowledge in the cyber risk management field and give employers the ability to identify the most qualified candidates in the dynamically expanding cyber job market.
